July 8 fishless report

Tubed and trolled the west river from UN1 to UN11. Boated no fish. Had one on for a few seconds on a black tube, but blew my one chance of the day. The moss was everywhere and wears you down whether tubing or trolling. I think next time out I'll take a lakeside bassing break.

Thanks for the report Tony.  They seem hard to come by recently, both the reports and the fish.  I am on a cold streak a mile wide.  Gonna try casting tomorrow night again with top water baits.  It's fun to bomb them a mile, a miss is almost as good as a strike and I won't be picking moss all evening.  Quiet time on the river skunked beats jet skiers slash idiot cruiser captains who blow by you less than twenty yards away on maximum wake setting skunked I guess.
