Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Greetings,

I am thinking about taking a full week off from work this October to fish.  As such, I am looking for suggestions as to which week would be best.  Thanks and take care.

Lots of big fish near moon this year, can't really go wrong starting there unless mother nature throws a wrench in the plan. Think full moon is the 18th, id take 3 days before and 3 after. New moon first week of Nov would be my top fall choice.
I would choose the New Moon period the first week of November.Full Moon period sometimes they feed at night if the water is gin clear.By the first week in November we might see lower 50 degree water temps this year as well. Also if the Harbor turns on you would have that option.I will return from Chautauqua Lake Oct 14thb and start night trolling down the West River to Beyers Creek.

scott, I have the first two weeks off in nov. maybe we can fish some days, rotate boats, get out with the other boys in the back.

Al,

Sounds good.  Based on the replies I have gotten it looks like the best week would be the first in November.  Let's see what the weather looks like on the Nov 3rd and decide what days to fish.

Take care.

will stay in touch.
