Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

I thought I'd start a discussion designed to keep you informed of the latest news on our 20th Anniversary Awards Banquet (6PM on Saturday, April 5 at the Pearl Street Grille).  Here's the latest:

  • Tickets ($40 per person) will be available at our February, March, and April meetings.
  • The ever hustling, ever wheeling and ever dealing Rich Sandig, has secured a donation for a free weekend stay at beautiful Chaudiere Lodge on the upper french River!  Thank you Chaudiere Lodge and Rich!
  • We have purchased eight 10" Jakes, four Legend Plows, and four Perchbaits, and we are sending them to Jim Reynolds for custom paint jobs!  All sixteen lures will appear on the Banquet raffle tables!
  • Capt. Larry Jones has donated a guided full-day fishing trip to the Buffalo Harbor and Lake Erie!  A full day with the most prolific Buffalo Harbor angler sounds pretty good!
  • We made a sizable purchase from NMA Hall-of-Famer Mark Maghran before he moved to Arizona.  All of the lures and the two Lakewoods boxes will appear on a fifth raffle table!  A lot of these lures have sizable teeth marks on them! Nice!
  • We are raffling our Shimano Tranx at the Banquet. This $500 bad boy could be yours for the price of one measly raffle ticket!

I will post to this discussion as more information is available, and more donations are acquired.  I hope to see you all at the 20th Anniversary musky prom!  Do you have your date yet?

I'm still working on more, would like to see 10 Guide Trips!

Larry is up to 8 guided trips with his latest donation, "Add Tmes Two Charters / Capt John Forbes, 4 hr Walleye Charter on Lake Erie for 2 persons".

Here's some more good news for the Prom: The Sabres and the Bandits are not scheduled to play at the First Niagara Center on April 5th.  Parking for the Banquet should be a breeze.  Don't forget, if you have trouble with stairs there is an elevator to whisk you to the fourth floor of the Pearl.

We delivered 26 baits to Jim Reynolds at last nights meeting.  This means 26 more Mr. Toothy CUSTOM colored baits for the Banquet raffle tables!

How would you like to win this at our 20th Anniversary Banquet (click on the attached file)?

I haven't had much to report about banquet donations lately, but today's is a doozy.  The most excellent owners of Memquisit Lodge on the West Bay of Lake Nipissing have donated a free weekend stay for four anglers to their wonderful lodge!  BOOM!  The total value of the prize is $440.  That number is what a weekend trip to Mequisit is worth in dollars.  A trip to Memquisit in terms of beauty and experience is absolutely priceless.   Memquisit is the very best of the very best lodges in Ontario.  Thank you, Frank and Charlene Daoust!!!

Larry can even catch charter captains when he's in Central America!  Here's his latest status, "Add Waterwolf Charters for a Lake Ontario Salmon Charter to the Banquet Raffle Table,Thanks Capt. Darryl! Print when I return!"  Waterwolf Charters makes ELEVEN guided local trips for the raffle tables!  Nicely done, Larry?

NMA Member and Daiwa and Cannon representative, Ron Morcio, has donated a Daiwa Millionaire Classic bait casting reel to our Banquet!  Thanks, Ron!

I spoke to Mr. Toothy this morning.  Our banquet lures, in all their glory, are painted save one.  Mr. Toothy didn't paint one of our Legend Plows.  The blank lure will be on one of our  tables, with the promise from Jim to paint it any color the lucky winner may imagine; talk about winning a custom painted lure!  Jim tells me he is bringing the "bling" with this order.  Now, I'm not sure what that means, but I sure do like the sound of it.

Despite his "clevis dilemma" (Joe apparently misplaced his vast collection of clevises in his cavernous lure lab), Jojo will have four Double Baloney bucktails for our raffle tables.  For those of you not familiar with the Shmo Double Baloney, it is a Double Cowgirl-style lure with enough deer hair and shiny stuff to fashion Bambi a disco-looking winter coat.  And boys, they look about as sexy as Elle MacPherson in the water.  Thanks, Jojo!

Thank god my trucks somewhat clean
Good day
Iggbro that is really funny ?
Thanks jooout
