Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Carrie and I went on vacation to my favorite place on the planet (it might just be hers now too), Memquisit Lodge on Lake Nipissing. Along with some serious relaxing, swimming, starring at rocks, water and pine trees, we managed to do a little fishing. In addition to a bunch of small pike, I caught this 51" trolling a Shumway Funky Chicken spinnerbait on Sunday. Look for Carrie's and my full report in the September issue. I miss The Rock already.

My favorite place on the planet? Hmmm.... let's think..... 1.) I don't even care that I didn't catch a Musky (seriously, if we were on the Niagara I would be pouting right now). 2.) I am only waiting to check the date of my cousin's wedding to book a full week for next year, otherwise I would have put the deposit down before we left.
Nice one Scott. It looks like it was a beautiful day too. Can't wait to see a picture of the rock. Maybe some other pictures too.
My favorite place on the planet, too. So many muskie memories. Beautiful, beautiful water. Endless rocks, islands, weeds. It's what musky lakes and musky fishing was in the old legendary literature. It's what the musky fishing experience is suppose to be. I actually fished for muskies there before I did here. 1977. Seems like yesterday.
Scott..a BIG CONGRATS to you on that fish!! It's a beauty. And I really like that two-fingered grip you put on the pelvic fin and, of course, glad you wore your lucky NMA T-shirt & hat. It didn't go unnoticed. Really looking forward to the Sept issue!!! Many thanks for sharing with us.
Of course you win the raffle and get a monster... Some people are lucky AND good.
I'm a lot more of the former and less of the latter.
There will be a lot of pictures, Steve, but pictures can't do it justice. Not even close, really. I know I don't have the words to describe the place properly, but I will try in our article. Seeing it and experiencing it is the only way to completely appreciate it. Ask Tony. Ask Joe Zolnowski. Ask Jimmy Spadafora. Ask Any Hector. Ask Mike Schomber. The Rock is a very special place indeed.
Thanks for the congratulations, guys. They mean a lot to me.
It was your favorite place long before it was mine. The Bay misses you, Tony.
awesome fish scott see you back on the river
