Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished the upper today with my brother Bruce and our friend Buckwheat. The boys fished for Bass and I fished for Musky. On the spine I caught a mid-twenties Walleye on a Bondy bait. The NW wind wreaked havoc on our drifts all day. We did do a little dedicated Musky trolling. I caught a 38 or so inch Musky pulling a sucker colored Mr. Toothy in 24 fow in UN4. The fish was only hooked with the front treble, so I decided to pop the hook with pliers, bad move. The fiesty bugger flipped out and threw the rear treble into my forearm and then proceeded to shake it's head vilontly. As you can imagine this was rather painful. I alerted the boys to my predicament with a few well crafted exclamations. Luckily the rear hook popped out of my arm and I was able to cut the hook out of the Musky and she swam away fine. I, however was left with a golf ball size contusion on my forearm.

*violently....fat fingers!
Uhhhg... that makes me shutter and cringe. I've got some gashes from the last couple nights. I need some cut proof gloves or something. Fish have been spun ky in the net to say the least.
I should have netted the one that got me today, I probably could have avoided the hook in the arm.
But then it's just another day and another dink. Now you've got a story to tell and a day you'll never forget.
