Last year we talked to a few kids who had never even held a rod before & had to show them how to cast, watched parents struggle with knots (then showed them how), put worms on hooks and encouraged everyone to "keep on fishin'"

One mom told me that her mom took her there when she was a kid & now she was doing that with her daughter.

Good times for everyone & a very satisfying time.  You'll put the slogan "Take a kid fishing" to practical use.

We all put in the volunteer time that we're able to do.  It's understandable if you can't. If you can help out, you'll be helping the kids, helping our club & helping yourself!!  Thanks!

Cap'n...that's great!  I know you there last year & it's always a help!

I'm going to bring some crawlers this year.  I remember there were a few last year who didn't even know what to use to catch fish.  Thanks again for volunteering!
