Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished from 6 to 11:30 am this morning. Nice morning.

Started with light east winds. Did nothing at the usual drifts using a green tube. Not that I think color makes a difference, but I decided to try the color I caught 3 on with Scott Kitchen. Sort of a brownish green or something like that. Right away I hook a fish. Right away I lose a fish. Only had it on a few seconds, too short to get a sense of size. But deep and long gashes top and bottom of the previously virgin tube. Even after all these years and all these lost fish I still hate losing fish. That was about 8:00. The winds had switched to SE, which I was waiting for.

At 9 I saw a guy trolling upstream catch and release a nice size muskie. Over 40" at least.

At 10:30 hooked and tagged a 34 incher on same decimated green/brown tube. Old beat-up one-eyed male.

I think I'm like 4 for 10 on tubes so far this year. At first I thought not too good. But then again if I were a baseball player I'd be batting .400. That would put me in Ted Williams' level. Hall of Fame for sure!

Moss was very light, lightest this season.

Normally when someone compares them selves to Ted Williams my first instinct is to bury them. For you, Tony, I'll let it slide. After all, I did nickname you the Iron Horse after another baseball immortal.
This will make you feel better. You are actually beating Teddy Ballgame. His career batting average was .344.
