Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

The musky gods fed me and Cullen a steady diet of Musky excitement today.  Only took us 5 minutes to hit the first fish trolling a Giant flat stick up the weed edge heading up current towards strawberry at 3:25 this am, a nice little 33in tiger.  Almost exactly an hour later I was trying to fix the tip on my cheapo trolling rod when the ceramic insert popped out, of course I left my Sucker Depthraider 60 ft back while I did it, fish hit with the line in my hand, I pulled back, got tension on the rod and put our 2nd fish in the boat at 34in.  As light started to peak through the clouds we started to cast, made it about 200 yards into our drift before a fat 42" picked up my tube and after a nice battle we slipped her into the net.  Ripped back up to the top of the drift but made it down to un13 before the next fish decided it wanted my perch swimbait, a healthy, perfectly hooked 35".  Decided to put the boat in 14fow and cast towards GI after that.  For some reason I decided the double bladed black and red maribou bucktail I tied up a couple weeks ago was what they wanted.  I let it sink a 4 count and burned it in as fast as I could, 3rd cast it got slammed and I landed my 4th fish, a feisty 37 that hit like a freight train and put up a great fight.  Decided at this point a big bait might land us a big fish.  We shot back up towards the international bridge and started casting big stickbaits and magnum bulldawgs.  Cullen had a nice 40 inch fish follow up his tyrant jerkbait and just 2 casts later hooked up boatside.  Put our 6th fish in the net but instead of the 40" follower it was a badass 30" that took on the 16" tyrant.  Great day and about time I stopped dropping fish!!!   I backed off the drag a little today hoping the battles would be less violent and I'd stop tearing hooks from mouths boatside.  It seemed to work.

Nice work John and Cullen!  Keep racking up points for my fantasy fishing team.  I can see my new plow already!  There are a lot of fish out there and they are hitting everything.

Great day man.  Team Pensyl and Veiders were dubbed Piss and Vinegar by one of my boat partners today after we met up for a brief chat.  Awesome energy coming from your boat guys.
