August 16 report

Fished today 6:30 to 1:30. Decided to try to work the east. After 2 hours fighting the weeds trolling and tubing, I gave it up and headed west. Tubed and trolled and cast and came up empty. No more sunny days for me til fall. Unless I'm bass fishing. I'll try to fish the fronts and the dark. Better percentages. Can't take the summer sun no more.

The east side is an ungodly weed bog which is fine by me. There are so many weeds in the east side a few small islands have formed. I must say I do like all of those fish not seeing or hitting musky baits. Come on fall and cold and stained water and awful weather. I've had enough of summer.
