Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

After weeks of being stuck on 12 fish I finally landed a 29"er in the rain this afternoon.  The fish hit on a perch color jointed depthraider while trolling.  Tired my arms out casting a cowgirl throughout the morning but was rewarded with a figure 8 fish trashing me boatside before getting unhooked.  Also a couple other follows today.  Fun day!

Boy after watching the weather forcasts and beating the sun to the river at 4am I thought I was sure to at least put a small fish or two in the net.  Deep down inside i thought this would be the day I get a beast, especially once the clouds moved in. Didnt happen for me.  Started out spending my first two and a half hours trolling Stalley's Reef, then shot up to Triangle and Beaver Island Drift.  Ended things up stream in Thompsons.  Finished at 11am.  Everything looked perfect.....next time I guess.

I bet the minute the pressure started to drop she ate a 5lb smallie. Missed our chance again.. lol
