Fishing Report 9/11 Part II: Chum's Special Day!

Chum is a yellow lab.  Chum is eleven years old.  Chum is Joe Wilczewski’s best friend.  Joe’s sister Jenny told Joe to take Chum fishing today.  She said it would be Chum’s special day.

I invited myself onto Joe’s boat this morning.  I didn’t know it would be Chum’s special day, but I’m glad it was.  Chum is a nice doggy and he is chummy with everyone.

Chum made two new friends today.  Mike Young and his friend helped make Chum’s special day more special.

We fished the east river today from 4 PM to 8 PM in UN4 and 5.  We jigged and then we jigged some more.  Chum didn’t care where or how we fished.  He was happy when we opened the cooler.

Chum was happiest just being with his best friend, Joe.  Joe was happy too.  He loves Chum and Chum loves him back every chance he gets.  I was happy to be with such good friends too, even though we spent most of our trip jigging.

Even though we didn’t catch any fish,  Joe did snag the world trolling after dark.  We all thought Joe had a big fish on which would have made Joe’s day more special.  Chum didn’t mind Joe’s snag.  He was just happy to be there with his best friend.  Chum could teach us all a thing or two about our time spent on the River.

Scott you just made a good day even better.

When jojo and Chum got home they were  very tired from jigging most of the day with Scott. Chum said to jojo why did we  jig all day???

Here's to Chum. One of the best dogs I've ever had the pleasure of calling my friend. He was a great, great, great dog.
