Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

For new & old members:  Once June comes around, everyone's excitement goes up six or seven notches.  Musky season opens on different days depending on where you're fishing.

1. If you're fishing in Lake Erie or its tribs, musky season is 3rd Sat in June (18th) thru Nov 30th.

2. If you're fishing the Lower Niagara, 3rd Sat in June thru Dec 15th

3. If you're fishing inland lakes it already opened, last Sat in May thru Nov 30th.

Also keep in mind, because there were some changes this year:

It's illegal to fish for muskies, or any fish, out of season, even if you intend to let them go.  A warden takes one look at the lure you're using, you'll get a tix.  I know a couple of guys from work who got nailed on Silver Lake coming in in the middle of the night with Rapala's on their rods.  Tried to tell the warden they weren't fishing for walleyes

If you happen to catch a musky from shore while fishing for another species, ALL you're supposed to do is handle it to release it.  Holding it to take pics out-of-season is handling it more than it should be.
