May 7th NMA Meeting

A question was asked at yesterday's NMA meeting about the "new" LaSalle Park that will be built thru the Ralph C Wilson Foundation.

The old LaSalle will be completely revamped & water access, a lagoon with riparian plantings and a softening of the shoreline are in the plans. It was asked who is organizing and coordinating the water/shoreline interface and aquatic habitat. So I asked the BN Waterkeepers & was told that there are quite a few partners involved in this work & the BNW will be involved in parts of the project.

They will write up a more detailed description of the project & the work to be done. As soon as I get a copy, you'll all know.
