Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Scott asked me tonight, “After your 40 what is your next Musky fishing goal?” “Ummmm…” I had to think, my primary goal was 40” since I hadn’t hit that mark yet, but what was next? My immediate (kind-of) response was 45”, well maybe 42”. (I don’t want to appear over-confident; the Musky-gods hate that!) I feel that I have no right to hope for anything more considering I have had the best season I ever had (number of fish, and largest.) Scott shared that his goals at the beginning of every season are, to catch the most number of fish he ever has, and to catch a 50. Personally I am not about to set my sights 10” higher when I only improved by ½” from last season. Then Scott asked “Top 10?” to which I informed him that the Top 10 is always a goal (isn’t that the whole point of the Top 10?) So, after thinking about my Musky goals I am curious. What are your Musky fishing goals? What is your time frame for achieving these goals? What would “make your season” in the next 2 months?
My goal is to catch 20 and a 45. I thought the 20 would be easy until by motor blew a fuse (I have 19). Now my goal is to get my motor running again without blowing a fuse.
I don't like the musky gods anymore.
Good Day
Two of my goals have been met, fish for my nephews.
The other two I am not going to talk about yet.
I think it is BAD carma to talk the talk, before you walk the walk???
jojoout and not done yet...
