Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

The DEC was out last Thurs & picked up all the receivers. They only had trouble finding one, tried a few times, ended up pulling up a boat anchor at the coordinates, did the others, came back to the original boat anchor spot & removed the final.
They also dropped one in at the basin in the South Gap to over-winter. This one will keep an eye on the ones that are tagged to see which ones are still around. Risk will be low. It's in deep water so no ice, there's no boat traffic or fishing going on and it will be retrieved in March/April before bass & walleye heat up.
Oh, one other thing. They spotted a pair of snowy owls on the breakwall & will be sending me a vid of the critters. How cool is that?
Cooler than the other side of the pillow, John. Just like you are. Thanks.
