Len was my neighbor and friend for 45 years. We started fishing together a few years after we first met on Hitchcock Drive in Depew. Need a tool? Call Len. Can't start the chain saw? Call Len. Go out for a nice dinner? Call Len and Patricia. Every Saturday morning during the season, Len Picked me up to go fishing. Always brought a six pack of spicy V-8. We caught a bunch of fish over the years and we solved a lot of the world's problems while we gabbed on board Short Recess. When you fish with the same guy for that long, you talk about stuff no one else will ever hear. With Len, you get to know just what a great guy he is. Devoted to his family, his friends, his Church. Will I miss him? That's a dumb-ass question. I loved the guy and will never forget him. He was about 5'10" but stood 10 feet tall.
Rest in peace, my friend.
