Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I don't know if this happens to you, but I know it hits Joe Wilczewski and me hard. Of course I’m talking about Musky Insomnia (MI). I get so damn excited before an early morning on the River that I can’t sleep. Joe always says his alarm clocks are set to keep him in bed and not the other way around; their common usage. I am going fishing at 5 AM. I went to bed at 11:30 and I've slept for an hour-and-a-half. When I awoke I checked my phone hoping to see 4:45, only to see 1:00. …

Hey Guys, if there is anyone out there that has any perch baits that they want to get rid of, please let me know. I would like to grow my small collection of lures to include these, as well as others. Hit me up and I will be happy to check them out. I would also love to get some Toothy's.

I had the great pleasure fishing with Jay Nannen, the Sunday that just passed, and although all I got was a bite that resulted in a tube that was teeth slashed (and a few cases of the dreaded “tube rash”). Thank you Jay!! It felt great just to get out and enjoy the water, the sun, and the extremely cool company! I had a great time!!
Also, in the last few weeks, I had the great pleasure of fishing with Tony Scime, and Adam Kazmark, and they also provided me great company and a great…

It reminded me of Marc Arena's fish from Caney Creek at the PMTT in Cave Run in 2003. Marc and Rod Ballard were up against it when Marc Caught a 41" to tie for fourth place in the event on the last day. With one minute to spare, at 11:59 AM this morning a young man was heard screaming and was bolting for the weigh-in station (a pagoda and picnic tables) at the Old Homes Days' Kids Fishing Derby at Island Park in Williamsville, as most of the competitors were waiting for the final results. …

Does everyone remember the postcards we filled out last year urging congress to take action on the Asian Carp issue? A couple of days ago I received an e-mail update from Freshwater Future (some of you may have also received this e-mail):
Congress included a measure in the latest highway funding bill to order the Army Corps of…

I once had July Madness. I stayed at a lake in northern New York and only ate pike from a lake with high levels of mercury. At the end of month long stay I started eating the fish from the lake raw. I ate their heads, bones, skin... everything. Also, I found this ring on my first day there and was referring to the fish as "My Precious". This didn't really happen, but I needed a hook to get you interested. A hook about as dull a Monster Tube's you've snagged ten times and haven't touched…

I just wanted to give Scott the praise he deserves for creating and managing such an awesome site. I know it is still early in the year but I would like to nominate Scott for the NMA Memorial award. Not only for the work he has done on the site but also the newsletter, the Pig Roast and all he has done to create such a great social atmosphere within the NMA.
It is also great that the membership on the site is now up to 76 and still climbing.
I'm going to be at Conesus lake…
